Haringey Phoenix Group is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information.

The kind of information we hold
Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data). All members' data will include name, address, telephone numbers and date of birth, as well as information required by our local authority. In addition class attendees are asked to provide emergency contact information, including medical information where necessary.

How we will use information about you
We will only use your personal information when the law allows us to, and we may pass on your personal information if we have a legal obligation to do so. We will only use your personal information to provide you with services you request from us. We will never share or sell your information to other organisations for marketing, market research or commercial purposes, and we don't pass on your details to other websites.

Your rights over your data
You are entitled to see the information we hold about you and you may ask us to make any necessary changes to ensure that it is accurate and kept up to date. If you wish to do this, please contact the Data Protection Officer. You also have the "right of erasure". You can request that we delete all the data we hold about you.

Data Storage
Once we have received data we will, through appropriate management and strict application of controls, ensure that we are able to keep your information safe, and to protect your information from access by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage.We will retain your information for a reasonable period or as long as the law requires.

How we use your information
When someone visits our website we collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. We collect this information in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting this website. We will not associate any data gathered from this site with any personally identifying information from any source. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.
